Time to get the coloured pencils out! This would also work very well in watercolour, or as a simple line drawing with ink wash. When drawing water, keep paper texture to a minimum by keeping your pencils sharp and using a smooth (hot pressed) watercolour paper. Note that the edges of the highlights on the ripples are fairly sharp. Use the closer image of the swan for more head detail. Unfortunately, the bright sun on the white has washed out - a common problem with digital cameras - so I can't get any more detail in the feathers for you in this image.
