Shaggy Dog

Today's exercise is this lovely shaggy dog. What a cutie! Remember to work backwards into the light fur from the dark - think about drawing the shadows between patches of light fur, rather than trying to draw the fur itself. Fur, hair, whatever...! You might also like to use a bit of artist's licence and improve the highlights in the eyes.... a pity about the flash. You could also do a line drawing by selecting out the main areas where there is a strong texture and suggesting those with a few lines, rather than actually shading the drawing.
