The overhanging bank with icicles, snowy banks and long, cast shadows makes a dramatic scene. I'd leave out the projecting branch in the foreground. Make sure your reflections are vertically below the object, just as they appear in the photograph. Try using an eraser or blender to make light, vertical smudges for that watery-reflection look. You could simplify the background by shading it fairly solidly an mid gray, then lightly drawing in some darker branches, and use a kneaded eraser to lift out the snow on the branches. Make that shadowed area behind the ice really dark and deep.
