Grid Drawing with Computer Graphics

Using graphics software programs

I scan the reference work (usually my own photo) into the computer, then I will insert it into my drawing program (I have corel draw),

Then I will enlarge it to fit my 8 x 10 page, and place a grid over it. Corel comes with a grid feature that I can set to any spacing I want. Many others may too.

Then I print the drawing with the grid on it. If I want to enlarge it further, it is an easy matter. I usually set my grid in the computer at 1/2 in. so enlarging is really simple.

Thanks, Starrpoint* ! My software program doesn't have a grid, but I use the 'rulers' to help me draw horizontal and vertical gridlines. I draw the grid on a separate layer, so that I can turn off the photograph layer, and print just the grid by itself, to put under my drawing page.
