Pet Photography - Take Lots of Shots

H South, licensed to About.com, Inc.
The little critters just won't sit still. If your digital camera has a slow response time like mine, it means you need to learn to shoot a moment early to catch your pet in action. The upside of the digital camera is that you can snap away without wasting film. So take plenty of shots of your pet until you get that perfect picture. Take some extras - wide views showing background, closeups showing detail of fur and features - so that you have additional references to complete your picture.
