Guide Comment This drawing has a lovely three-dimensional quality that I like very much. Drawing small objects like this is terrific practice for observing form, and the results can be very pleasing. The use of overlapping patches of crosshatching is a effective way of describing form. You can also use this type of hatching to help model the form of the object. Do be careful of making the background too energetic, as this draws the eye away from the object.

I LIKE MUCH TO DRAW SIMPLE OBJECT THAT I FOUND AT HOME.I DRAW THIS SMALL JAR
USING GRAPHITE IN DIFFERENT HARDNESS 3B 5B 7B AND I FOUND THE DARK AREAS
WITH CROsSED LINES. THE RESULTS SEEMS GOOD. I LIKE VERY MUCH.
