Artist's Statement: I have been painting with Acrylics since September 2004, but drawing since December 2005 (I know that this is backwards, but, there it is…). I have always had a special feeling for great Black & White photography. Working with pencils & charcoal allows me to explore the mystery, depth and atmosphere that even the simplest subjects can exhibit. My hope with each drawing is to try to convey that atmosphere, the idea that there might be more here than just the thing.
