Artist's Statement:
| ' I was born and raised in rural Ohio surrounded by farms and the country way of life. My grandfather ran a milk route and in the summers would take me with him. I grew to love the country and the buildings and scenes that went with them. I started drawing them when I was young but only in the past 5 years or so have I really started to take it seriously. I use an unlikely tool to convey my art in that I use a common Bic ball point pen. I love the different tones and depths and details that I can get with this one inexpensive tool and I hope you do too. This drawing is of an old, abandon tool shed on an abandon farm just west of a small village called Landeck which is just south west of Delphos, Ohio. Thank you. ' - Vincent D Whitehead |
