| Artist's Statement: 'I love shape, color and rhythm and I employed these aspects in the creation of this work. The colors are strong reflecting there importance. 'Hallway 1' also reflects my interest in surrealism and the work in perspective.' |
| Guide Comment: These colorful pieces certainly reflect a great love of color. I particularly like the strong sense of space created in the hallway drawing. Unfortunately the detail is lost in the photograph. You might like to try combining the use of linear perspective with atmospheric perspective - softening distant details, using more visible fine detail and texture in the foreground, and using stronger contrast in the foreground areas. |
