| Artist's Statement: 'hi my names Jeff Poore..i m 42,,from kentucky..sending in 3 of my drawings..rough sketches mainly...they are only samples of the drawing i do..(most are a lot neater.).and they're done in pencil and crayon only.. but..with better art supplies.which..unfortunatly..i do not have at this time...they would look much better.. been drawing since i was much younger..and have many idea's about cartoons i would like to do someday..can send better cartoons in the future.. these were taken using only a webcam..so..forgive me..if the quality isnt the very best'

| Guide Comment: No need to apologize for the materials, Jeff. In fact, its great to see that you are making art with whatever you have available - too often people use the "but I haven't got a (deluxe paint set, computer, whatever...)' excuse. You can explore cartooning just fine with a Bic and some kids crayons! I'd like to see your characters becoming more animated, interacting with each other and and expressing their rather subversive-looking personalities. Have you considered using them to tell a story, or put them in a situation that you'd like to comment on?
