Artist's Statement:
| I am submitting a cropped pencil sketch for review. It is a sketch for a larger painting of the dogs on my daughters bed. One thing art classes have taught me is to do sketches BEFORE I put paint to paper.I routinely make a sketch (or two) before I paint.Sometimes in colored pencil which are very new to me.My instructor has hepled me to become more disciplined. I am still too impatient and still ruin many a nice watercolor with my haste. You can see in the sketch where I took 2 pages for the painting. Thus the unsightly line. Comments please.
