| Artist's Statement: ' Hi! Its a pleasure to have a chance to show my talent, I'm very greatful to this website, which helps the artists to get exposure. I've drawn several sketches even live portraits, etc. but this is one of my favourite. I've been drawing since childhood. Starting from cartoons to figures. I haven't learned it in any school or institution, its just a Gods favour that he gave me. '

| Guide Comment: This portrait of Celine Dion gives the artist an interesting fall of light to work with. You've observed the pose really well and the handling of the hair and face is particularly good. Some of the texture in the shading is a little too strong - You might like to think about the handling of the shading - try using a harder pencil for light areas, and a softer pencil for darks, and experiment with using circular or irregular shading motions with a sharp pencil, so that you can get a smooth, even surface.
