| Artist's Statement: 'This is one of my first portraits... it's my dad and I drew it in the first month after picking up a pencil. I'd no idea how much fun it can be to make drawings as these. I used softer pencils (6B) for the dark lines/areas, which seem to give it more contrast and make it more stand out.... I appreciate any comments you may have, Thanks!.' |
