Artist's Statement:
| ' The animal images are based on photographs I took at the zoo. I have been drawing since I was a child, but then I concentrated mostly on cartoon characters. My favorite medium is graphite pencil. I have started working with colored pencils also. Animals and wildlife are a big love of mine and so I started drawing them about 2 1/2 years ago. With lots of practice, they have started to come along slowly. I think that my attempts been fairly successful, but still need a lot of work and improvement. I believe that I need more work on making the eyes more realistic and expressive in all my drawings. - Patricia Fisken ' |
