Medium: Charcoal
Artist's Statement:
| ' I've been painting from such a young age that I neglected drawing and the mediums that go with it. When I considered applying to art school I realized that I didn't have much variety in my completed works. Since that time I have invested in a set of conte crayons, chalk pastels, charcoal sticks and pencils. I'll be honest, I've not had much success with the white charcoals, but am still working on it. I've attached a self portrait I did in December last year with charcoal pencils, there is more shading and light study in it, any feed back that you have on this is more than welcome.
