Quick Flower Sketches: This sketch tries to capture the loose, casual look of watercolor and ink sketches, using colored pencil to add color. Don't try to be too exact with your placement of the colors - keep it quick and fun.
Ink over colored pencil:Colored pencils have oily, waxy binders so don't lay them on too thick or the ink won't stick. Use indian or other solvent-based ink, as the pencil will reject water-based inks. If you have watercolor pencils and waterproof ink, try adding some water after the ink has dried.
