Introduction to Pencil Shading

When we start pencil shading, we tend to forget about the subject and start just filling in the area, like a coloring-in. To get your shading working properly in your drawing, you need to start thinking about the marks you are making on the page and how they relate to the shapes that you are shading. Helen. To focus in, with deliberate use of graphite in kit form and have the tools before you ready to use is one of the best secrets.
I have been drawing for awhile with not formal training. I just recently finished my first formal course of the basics and I was suprised on how much I learned. I am going through your basics and I am having the same experience. As always your article are excellent.
