Drawing Structure

Friday October 26, 2007
Complicated objects can be difficult to draw - sometimes its hard to know where to start. By imagining the objects broken down into simple shapes, you can give yourself a basic structure to start with, which helps you to create a more convincing three-dimensional form. Find out how drawing structure can help your drawing.

Wanted to introduce a site that helps with your art skills. It is called http://www.zcubes.com . ZCubes is a website where you can seamlessly browse, search, edit, paint, draw, hand-write, watch, listen, publish, type, print, network, teach, learn, and work.

http://storage.zcubes.com/zsave/zfolders/4A95B181984B4FEA8D70FCFB30E67ADA/manface.html is an example of a drawing someone made. Something more sophisticated is at:

Please let us know how the art students find such possible avenues to create digital art (similar to pencil drawings).

Would appreciate it if Helen South could contact me.

HI Joseph, I did email you - I apologize for the delay. I’ll have to check my blog settings - it didn’t tell me there was a comment waiting to be moderated.
