Get Motivated

I wrote this review a while back when returning to serious drawing and painting after being stuck in a rut. I soon found myself often thinking of words of wisdom from Steven Pressfield's book, 'The War of Art'. I gave my copy away so I had to buy a new one (never lend books - just give them; then you don't have to bother about getting them back.) It has been out for a few years now and If you haven't read it already, I thoroughly recommend it. If you're a creative worker who wants to lift their game, this book will help you do it. It's a short, easy read - well, easy in terms of readability. Not so easy if you don't like the message! Steven Pressfield has an authoritative style that won't appeal to everyone. He's direct and honest. 'The War of Art' is aimed at writers and other creative people who are serious about being or becoming professional.
