So far in Start a New Hobby Week we've looked at some introductory drawing lessons and learned a little about drawing supplies.

Shading is an important part of drawing, allowing us to show light, shade and form. Shading a drawing can be very absorbing and relaxing, too! shadingThere's something meditative about following the contours of a shape, matching the darks and lights as you go.
