Draw a Cartoon Tropical Fish

Here's a fun little tropical fish to draw. It's a very cartoony fish - it started life with a reference photo somewhere and gradually became a figment of my imagination! You can have a marvelous time exploring the colors and patterns of real tropical fish like the ones in this Angelfish Photo Gallery.. They can be quite easy to draw - just look for the main simple shapes - often their bodies are clear ovals or quite rectangular, then add the patterns. Or let your imagination run wild inventing your own!
