Giclee Printing FAQ

Wednesday December 3, 2008
Giclee Printing can be a cost-effective way of making your artwork affordable to the public. While it doesn't have the 'hands-on' originality of traditional print mediums like stone lithography and etching, giclee prints in limited editions are a viable alternative when you don't have access to a print studio. Giclee printing allows more than one person to enjoy a great image, broadening your audience, and is useful for making gifts and promotions. Modern giclee print technology means that you no longer have to do print runs of thousands to make it economical. Printing companies and the printers and materials they use vary in quality, so be sure to research the process before you dive in to get prints made. This Giclee FAQ answers some important questions about the giclee printing process.
