Artist Quotations

Often reading something from another artist or writer can strike a chord that sets off your creativity. Sometimes you find statements that express ideas that you haven't been able to set words to. Artist quotes can also make an interesting addition to your journal or sketchbook. I like to use text as a visual element in my work - usually, it will be the starting point and carefully chosen for its meaning, but sometimes I'll pick something that is vaguely appropriate just to add some texture and interest to a piece. Hi Joseph, I’m sorry about the ad - I don’t have any control over these, but I’ll bring it up with the ad department. There should be a close option. You might also like to try using ‘Firefox’ which has a built-in ad blocker, I find it very useful. I never see the popup ads.
