What a Pity: The World's Biggest Drawing, Isn't.

Ever behind the times, I just read an interesting little article in Wired about Swedish artist Erik Nordenenkar's GPS and DHL Delivery drawing. It's such a pity - a brilliant idea, the notion of drawing virtual lines across the globe. Wired says it was a hoax, Nordenenkar's website adds an after-the-fact 'clarification'... hoax or just a concept taken out of context, whatever.... I'd love to see someone take the idea and run with it.
