Learn to Draw Flowers
Northern Hemisphere readers must be looking forward to warmer Spring weather, with the first of March just around the corner. What a great time to take your drawing skills outside! If it's still too chilly for you, grab a bunch of early blooms and draw indoors. Flowers, being organic shapes, are amazingly forgiving subjects and you can use pretty much any style and medium you like. Why not try a few different approaches to a single subject - a flowing line drawing, a quick sketch with wash, and a formal value or colored drawing.
