Book Review: Ann Kullberg - Colored Pencil Portraits
Saturday November 17, 2007
A recent enquiry about skin tones in pastel reminded me of Ann Kullberg's excellent book on the subject. Colored Pencil Portraits - Step by Step is worthwhile just for the beautiful portraits throughout the book, and Ann's work will inspire you while her teaching gives you the skills to create the effects yourself. Particularly useful is her approach to identifying skin tones and her attention to light and shade. Check out the review for more on this excellent addition to the drawing bookshelf.
