Chinese culture has always fascinated me - my father taught himself to read quite a bit of Chinese, even though he was tone-deaf so struggled with the spoken language. So I was really pleased to come across Rebecca Yue's Chinese Calligraphy Made Easy. Subtitled 'a structured course in creating beautiful brush lettering', the methodical explanations of the basic brush-strokes in this volume make Chinese calligraphy accessable even to beginners.
