Time Management
Saturday August 26, 2006
When my newsletter went out unedited again this week, I decided to try a new weekly schedule. The idea came from Barbara Sher - I'm currently reading her book 'Refuse to Choose: What to Do When You Want to Do Everything'. One of the great tips she has for people with a lot of interests is to allocate time for each activity through the day, in hourly blocks, just like you did in highschool. This is useful for things like drawing and music which benefit from daily practice, and helps stop you from getting bored. You just allocate less blocks to low priority tasks, and double blocks for major projects.
