What's in a Name?

Tuesday August 15, 2006
Do you give your drawings titles? When you are exhibiting, you usually need to attach some sort of title so that the viewers know which piece they are looking at (and hopefully buying!). I've found myself trying to think up descriptive names for pieces when I scan them into the computer - usually I stick to things like 'figuredrawingcharcoal1' so that I have a good chance of finding it via the desktop search. Here's a few tips on naming drawings.

I really dislike it when i have stopped drawing for awhile due to stress and try to pick it up again only to be frustrated.
