Drawing Blogosphere

The Daly Blog's Donnachada mentioned a new blog by Dreamworks drawing guru Dave Pimentel (Tarzan, Pocahontas), who was taught by Walt Stanchfield (The Jungle Book, Winnie The Pooh and The Fox and the Hound, many others). Dave's got some interesting sketches up already and I look forward to seeing more of his work.
In his blog, Illustration Art, David Apatoff shares his thoughts on some great art and illustrators, such as this great post on Mort Drucker's Hands.
I've also been enjoying the work of animator Chris Battle, animator extraordinaire on Powepuff Girls, Dexter's Laboratory and Real Monsters

I remember the hands from Drucker’s art. I was always facinated by how expressive they were, and how much of the story they told.
