Writer Henry Shukman has an entertaining article in today's Guardian Unlimited, 'Loitering with Intent', exploring the traditional writer's occupation of procrastination. The work-avoidance habits of many well-known writers are mentioned, but most telling is the net result of their angst-ridden dithering: the great works that didn't get written. Procrastination is an affliction that artists suffer from too. Here are some ways to renew creative energy and get started on that drawing.
