The drawing forum has been buzzing lately, and you'll find all kinds of tips and ideas being discussed. Topics range from technical questions about materials, cartoon design and digital art, through to thoughts about what inspires our drawings. Why not add your two cents to one of these threads?
Watercolor Pencils
How does everyone use them? Do you draw first, then "paint" over them? Do you work on wet paper or wet the pencils? - Starrpoint
Drawing Clouds
Does anyone have any advice, demos, or websites that would help me with drawing clouds? I work mostly in black and white, using either pencil or charcoal. I have a few drawings of statues that are outside and buildings, but they have no backgrounds because I don't want to ruin them by messing up the clouds. - Alan Y
What Color are White Shadows?
A strange question i know but one that is bugging me. Haven't drawn in quite a while but want to get back into it and I have 2 white cats I would like to draw. I remember a school art teacher telling us that shadoes are never black and contain lots of colours but how do you depict shadows on white objects? Any help greatly appreciated! - Leanne
