Boucher Drawings at the Frick Collection

François Boucher (1703–1770)'Recumbent Female Nude' (detail)
(Collection Jeffrey E. Horvitz, Boston)
The grace and sensitivity of Boucher's line in this drawing is almost overwhelmed by the eroticism of this image, one of around 17 included in the exhibition currently on show at the Frick Collection in New York (until December 14).
Check out this article for a brief discussion of Boucher's work and examples from the Boucher exhibition. Please note that Children under ten are not admitted to the Collection, and those under sixteen must be accompanied by an adult.
