American Islamic Calligraphy

Mohamed Zakariya converted to Islam about 40 years ago, having been drawn to the faith through study of language and travel. Mohamed Zakariya , Neil Yerman and Karen Gorst are three calligraphers featured in the exhibition 'Writing the Sublime: The Art of Calligraphy in the Religions of Abraham' at The Interfaith Center of New York. The exhibition opens on Wednesday 12 November and continues until January 9th, 2004.
